There is always something going on in Australia, this country never stops! The music culture is one of a kind here with heaps of music festivals, especially during the summer.

November 2019

RETURN TO RIO
When: November 8th to 10th

This is just a perfectly fun weekend plan! The 3-day music festival Return to Rio has a pretty varied and high-quality line-up and an environment of good vibes only. More than the incredible selection of musicians, there are some initiatives to spread love and kindness, a time to wear your favourite costume and appreciate kangaroos on the natural surrounding. Pretty magical, hey!

NEWTOWN FESTIVAL
When: November 10th
Where: Camperdown Memorial Rest Park, Newtown

This sustainable and inclusive Inner West party celebrates Newtown’s tight-knit community with a full day of music, art, food, markets and animal friends. Run primarily as a fundraiser for the Newtown Neighbourhood Centre (NNC), the annual event aims to support disadvantaged groups, such as people facing homelessness, living with mental illness or those from diverse linguistic backgrounds.

HARBOUR LIFE
When: Saturday 16th November
Where: Fleet Steps, Mrs Macquaries Point, NSW
Just around the corner, the dance floor of the beautiful venue in the Sydney city offers quality house music of international and local house music artists. Ready to kick off the summer? Be quick that the tickets are running out!

STRAWBERRY FIELDS
When: November 29th to December 1st
Where: Tocumwal, NSW

If you are looking for leaving the city for a bit and connect with nature, this is the one! Located only 3 hours out of Melbourne in a bushy area, the festival runs national and international electronic music. But it doesn’t end here, this festival has an artistic soul and includes out-of-the-box installations, live performing arts, workshops in an inspiring deco. Get ready!

SUBSONIC Music Festival 2019
When: December 6th to 8th
Where: Riverwood Downs, Barrington Tops, NSW

Another getaway with the best of music is the famous Subsonic festival. A place for creativity to bloom, where the weird and wonderful meet, and all can partake, that is how it is defined. The festival promises 3 days of music, camping, art and performance set in the lush surrounds of the Barrington Tops where you can play by the river and on the dance floor.

New Year’s Eve 2019/2020

Now, this is pretty serious! You can’t live in Australia without being at least once in one of these NYE festivals. And we reaaaaally mean it!

FALLS FESTIVAL
When: December 28th to January 05th
Where: 3 Locations. Lorne, Marion Bay, Byron Bay and Fremantle

The longest festival in Australia, it runs for 9 days in 4 different cities each with special guests to come. The line up is also huge and eclectic, definitely a solid choice for your New Year’s in a very stylish way!

WOODFORD FOLK FESTIVAL
When: December 27th to January 1st (New Years Eve Festival)

Another awesome option for the end of the year, this festival runs for six days and six nights with more than 2,000 local, national and international, artists, musicians and presenters. The experience is deep, rich and colourful based on a vision of inclusive and creative community. The site is composed of subtropical rain forest trees, flowers and wildlife in a beautiful farm.
Not bad to start 2020 very inspired!

LOST PARADISE
When: Dec 28 – Jan 1
